Going Green - How to Reuse

Sometimes there is some confusion between resusing and recycling. What is the difference? Reusing something means that it stays in primarily the same condition. You can build something with it but it stays most the same consistency. Recycling consists of drastically changing the physical
properties of an item. This could mean melting it down or dissolving the materials and turning it into something totally new.
There are tons of things everyday that people throw out that could be reused. Plastic cups are usually tossed in a rubbish bin after a single use. They could easily be washed out and reused many times. Water bottles are often used a single time. With a faily inexpensive filter attached to the tap, these bottles can be reused many times.
When the time comes to purchase another piece of furnature or an appliance shop for lightly used items versus new. This will not only be cheaper but will help resuse lightly used mechandise that is still in good shape. Craigslist.com is a good place to find used items.
