Compact Fluorescent bulbs have just hit mainstream use and already they have strong competition from the LED light. LED stands for Light Emitting Diode. For years they have been used as Christmas lights and standby lights in many appliances but never considered for everyday lighting use. The main reason for this is the fact that a LED light doesn't give off nearly enough light to fill an entire room. A new process has now made it possible.

Happy Earth Day Everyone! I found this poor squirrel on youtube. In the spirit of Earth Day lets plant him a tree. For everyones sake I'm not kidding.

Well the blog has been down. Not really sure what happened here at Greenacy.org but the site went down for about 12 hours and we lost quite a bit. The main site is backed up but the blog was lost so it is starting all over again.
